Hello boys and parents of drenge 98

I will write this in english so everybody gets a chance to understand :-).

My ambition is to speak and write good danish after new year, so time will.....

I`m like you already know the new coach and I`m currently living in Lund, but will move sometime in august to Hörsholm and coach basketball and work in Netto.

I`m soon to be 33 years old on the 19th of july and have been around basketball most of my life. This will be my 17th year as a coach and I´m really loooking forward to it. I have been runing a basketball webpage for about 10 years with lots of drills and other interesting stuff for basketball freaks. I met the boys for the first time last saturday and I have a great feeling about the team and the individuals in the team. I`m convinced that there will be lots of development during this season and we will work lots on the foundamentals of the game and combine that with the great Hörsholm vibe and clubspirit.

I gave the boys some homework when I met them:
1. Find a players simualar to you that plays pro ball (all players should have smaller guards as inspiration in this age) Kobe, Lebron, Howard are all great players, but to learn its better to look at players closer to their on height.

2. Why did you choose this player and what makes him so good?

I also gave them som homework about shooting technic so they already have some drills to work on until we start up in august.

In August I will present a plan for the whole season and also have a parents meeting where I will explain my thoughts about basketball, the team and what the team goals and individual goals are.
The importence of you parents participating in your sons basketball is of great importance, but of course you already know that :-)

Book the weekend last two weekends of august already for basketball. The plan is to start up with a team camp and a small tournament with other good teams. There will come more information about this as soon as everything is planned to the last detail.
